Our motivation arose from the concern we have about the punctuation marks are covered in textbooks of Portuguese and distributed in Brazilian public schools. In support our research, we used the contributions of Dialogic Discourse Analysis, taking as input some key concepts developed by Bakhtin and the Circle, such as dialogue and dilogism. From the methodological perspective, it was proposed two axes. At first, we developed the theoretical research contribution. In practical axis, we analyzed two educational activities about the use of punctuation.
