Fazer-se visível na rede : a prática blogueira e a construção social do cientista e da ciência
Abstract
The article focuses on enunciation spaces of scientists that blog in Brazilian blogs. It reflects about the production conditions that enable the emergence of blogging activity in the scientific community, which had a significant growth in Brazil and other countries in recent years, with the appropriation of independent blogs by scientists. We also reflect about the transformations of the ways to articulate scientist, scientific practices and science institution brought by these devices. The theoretical-methodological approach used are discourse studies, mainly with Michel Foucault’s approach (1969; 1971; 1982). Our reflections show that blogs arise in a context of emergency of an external visibility to the scientific field, a new way of scientists to achieve visibility, quality of participatory culture. The blogs become spaces of visibility of science, helping to perpetuate the social space of this activity, restoring, at the same time, the reflexivity of scientists.
