Os santos das ordens militares no Agiologio Lusitano de Jorge Cardoso

Abstract

Starting from a short study of the virtuous and venerable life of some "saints" of the military orders included in Jorge Cardoso's Agiologio Lusitano, this article discusses the principles followed by the author in his presentation of the lives of membres of the military  orders, drawing attention to several biographical aspects -secular, spiritual and miraculous- which made their inclusion possible.
