De Braga a Roma : relíquias no caminho de D. Frei Bartolomeu dos Mártires

Abstract

In the voyages which the venerable Frei Bartolomeu dos Mártires made in order to take part in the Council of Trent and in all those made in between, he had the opportunity to visit many relics either kept enclosed or/and exhibited for the worship of the faithful in many local churches and monasteries of the places he happened to go across or where he had gone on purpose. In the course
of his conversations with other clergymen there were also some references to further relics found in other places away from his usual itinerary. All of those relics are listed in this work.
