THE IMPORTANCE OF INFORMING THROUGH A VIRTUAL OBSERVATORY IN THE AREAS OF INTERCULTURAL MEDIATION AND INTERNATIONAL NEGOTIATION

THE MINI-WORLD OBSERVATORY

Abstract

The Observatory of Intercultural Mediation and International Negotiations (MINI-Mundo) is a space created for the diffusion of existing knowledge and advances in the academic and professional sphere in the areas of intercultural mediation and international negotiation in society and in the market with its dissemination aimed at: students, recent graduates, market professionals, researchers, scholars and enthusiasts in the area. Among the project's objectives, that has already been achieved, was the creation of the Observatory. Other objectives and actions involved the mapping of research groups active in the area, the identification of publications, events, news and relevant content in the areas, these surveys need to be constantly updated. This work has also been done, but it is one that requires constant updating because there is always something new in the area. Through qualitative methodology, of bibliographic nature and mainly with telematics and web research, the Observatory is managing to achieve the proposed purpose. As main results, the public has a space (website) with easily accessible information and that is constantly being updated and adapted taking into account the news and trends coming from the professional market in the area. The idea is to increasingly promote the approximation and collaboration between the academy and the profession (market) as a way of integrating theory and praxis, aiming at better professional affirmation and greater dissemination of knowledge in the area.
