About th platform
In 2012, the Publications Unit of FLUP's Documentation and Information Services began managing the OJS Platform. The increase in journals was considerable and at this time (2021), there are 31 journals available to the general public and freely accessible.
The work developed since then has focused on improving communication/diffusion and responsiveness, given the volume of production, scientific and research work carried out at the Faculty. From integration into databases such as Scielo, DOAJ, REDIB, REDALYC to the attribution of DOIs, creation of a manual of good practices, etc., we have sought to highlight the excellent quality of the work developed at FLUP, as well as showing the ability to reach to everyone, knowledge that until recently was only available to a few.
In a new phase of improvement, we also seek to ensure that the platform has special attention in terms of editorial policies and rules, accessibility, etc., allowing it to meet the demands of the most reputable Databases.
