Blind peer review
The publication procedures follow a double-blind peer review model by academic peers.
CEM will acknowledge receipt of all manuscripts. Manuscripts that do not meet the established editorial requirements will be returned to their authors for revision and resubmission. Once these formalities have been completed, articles will undergo an initial evaluation by the Editor and Editorial Board. CEM does not issue opinions on manuscripts that do not pass this stage. Articles that are considered to have scientific potential and interest for the journal will subsequently be evaluated by two external experts in an anonymous process conducted by the Editorial Board.
A third opinion will be sought whenever the first two are not in agreement.
Taking into account the opinions of the reviewers, the Editor of the Journal and the Editorial Board may ask the authors to reformulate the text.
Only articles that receive an unequivocal positive opinion for publication from two external reviewers will be accepted for publication.
