A presente obra de Anthony Lisska é um estudo sobre as teorias da percepção em Tomás de Aquino, centrado em duas obras principais de Tomás de Aquino: o Comentário ao De Anima de Aristóteles e a Suma de Teologia. Lisska comenta ainda excertos de obras de outros autores da mesma área de pensamento, ou seja, da filosofia do tomismo analítico.
