Submissions

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

The contribution is original and unpublished and not under review or for publication by another journal. Otherwise, it must be justified in "Comments to the Editor."
The files for submission are in Microsoft Word format (not exceeding 2MB)
URLs for the references have been provided when available.
The document submitted must have been created from the template available here
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Instructions for Authors, in the section About the Journal.
In case of submission to a section with peer review (ex .: articles), the instructions available in Assuring Blind Peer Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

All articles to be submitted must comply with the following:

Identification of each author with affiliation and their contact email.

Abstract: Abstract in the language in which the article is written (maximum 300 words). The abstract should be written (letter "arial" size 9, justified).
Keywords: minimum 3 and maximum 5 (Letter "arial" size 9, justified)
Abstract: Abstract in English. If the article is originally in English must be an abstract in Portuguese. The abstract should be written in font size 9, justified.
Keywords: minimum 3 and maximum 5 (Letter "arial" size 9, justified)

Text:
The entire document should be written in font "arial" size 11, spacing 6 pt after and single spacing, justified.
The beginning of chapter must be in size 13 bold, left-aligned.
The body text should be written in size 11, justified and 6pt spacing after.
Subchapter text should be written in 12 Bold spacing 6 pt after and simple and between lines.

Figures and tables:
All pictures / tables should be labeled and referred to throughout the text. The legend must be numbered and be in "arial" font size 9, below the respective figure or frame.

Articles dimension:

The size of articles to submit varies by section:
Reflect: should never be less than 10 pages and no more than 20.
Intervening: should never be less than 5 pages and no more than 15.
Perspective: should never be less than 3 pages and no more than 10.
Events: should never be less than 3 pages and no more than 10.
Field trips: All videos must be submitted by large files transfer services, like WeTransfer. All videos must be accompanied by a short abstract (300-500 words) and keywords (3-5 words).
In the case of the video appear other identifiable persons, the author will have to take the necessary legal permits for broadcasting.
The video must contain a fact sheet on its end with the following information:
- Author
- Scope
- Year

Rules for Posters
Posters are allowed in the size A1 and A0 in jpeg or tiff format, and it must be explicit:
- Name and affiliation author or authors,
- Poster title,
- Bibliographic references

Bibliographical References:
This journal follows the APA 6th style.

Scientific articles about teaching and education in all fields of knowledge, but focusing mainly on Geography.

Intervening

Articles of academic research presented by young teachers in training.

Perspective

Interviews, book and film reviews, notes about exhibitions and scientific meetings, among other situations whose visibility deserves to be promoted.

Events

Report of projects and/or multiple school activities.

Field trips

Images and sounds of study visits and field work through posters or original multimedia resources.
