<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>New Deadline for proposals| 31st</strong><strong> March 2025</strong></p> <p style="font-weight: 400;"> </p> <p style="font-weight: 400;">The Institute of Sociology of the University of Porto (IS-UP) announces a Call for Papers for the journal <em>Cadernos IS-UP</em>, to be published in September 2025. </p> <p style="font-weight: 400;">Following the launch of six competitive and widely publicised editions, IS-UP invites the submission of original texts on specific research topics and focused on knowledge transfer.</p> <p style="font-weight: 400;"><em>Cadernos IS-UP</em> aims to establish a bridge between the university and society, science and practice, or even between research and social intervention. The texts should be written from a sociological and/or other social and human sciences perspective.</p> <p style="font-weight: 400;">Aiming to work on the value of science and its impacts on society, Cadernos IS-UP seek to build bridges between the university and the society, science and practice, research and social intervention.
